Never pay a stranger’s UPI in a chat.
On Flotr, you only ever pay inside the app.

Found a trip in a reel? Find the agency on Flotr, see who’s going, and pay through Flotr. Your money never goes to a UPI ID someone sent you.

Spot the scam.

one of these takes your money and runs
  • Rush: “offer ends tonight”
  • UPI ID in a chat
  • No booking page, no bill
  • Claims you can’t check
  • Verified business
  • Hold from ₹99
  • Nothing added
  • Paid to Flotr, in the app
Where your money goes

Your money takes
the safe route.

You pay Flotr, not the agency directly. The agency is paid through Flotr, and if something’s wrong, Flotr can hold the money.

  1. Youpay inside the app
  2. Flotrsecure payment gateway
  3. The agencypaid through Flotr
  • Every payment

    Never pay a stranger

You pay Flotr through a secure payment gateway inside the app. Never an agency’s personal UPI.

  • Not sure yet?

    Hold your seat from ₹99

The agency sets the amount. Pay the rest by the date the trip shows, all inside the app.

  • Big trip?

    Pay in parts

Where the agency offers instalments, split the trip into two or three payments. You see every date before you pay.

  • At checkout

    The price is the price

Nothing added at checkout. No convenience fee. Any extras the agency charges are listed on the trip page.

  • Before you pay

    Know who you’re paying

Look for the Verified tag. A person at Flotr checked the agency’s PAN and business registration.

  • In your chats

    A warning, right there

If an agency’s message in the app has a UPI ID in it, Flotr flags it right under the message.

The one rule to remember

Someone asks you
to pay on UPI?

Don’t.

An agency may

  • Send you its trip link on Flotr
  • Ask you to hold your seat or pay inside the Flotr app
  • Answer your questions in the Flotr chat
  • Ask for details the trip needs, like your pickup point

An agency should never

  • Send a UPI ID, QR code or bank account for you to pay
  • Ask for an “advance” outside the app to block your seat
  • Ask for your OTP, PIN or card details
  • Rush you to pay before you’ve seen the trip on Flotr

If it happensDon’t pay. Report the message in the app and tell our team. We’re there 24x7.

4 of the 6 rules

The Flotr Promise.

  • Ifsomeone asks you to pay on UPI

    Don’t

On Flotr you only ever pay inside the app.

  • Ifthe price on the trip page is ₹X

    You pay ₹X

    Nothing is added at checkout.

  • Ifthe agency cancels your trip

    Every rupee back

To how you paid. Not a voucher, not a wallet.

  • Ifsomething goes wrong

    Flotr decides

Flotr decides the dispute, not the agency. Support is there 24x7.
